Onze Heures Onze and the 2e2m ensemble have teamed up for a performance featuring B.C. Manjunath, a mridangam player and one of the masters of Carnatic music.
They invited composers/arrangers Alexandre Herer and Julien Pontvianne to blend their musical worlds with that of Séverine Ballon, a composer invited by 2e2m. Together with B.C. Manjunath, they created a concert centered on his instrument, rhythms, and musical language, featuring three original compositions that explore new sounds and aesthetic horizons.
More than a desire for fusion, it is the drive to create new music that animates this team with diverse cultural backgrounds.
This repertoire premiered on May 9, 2026, at L’Envolée, Les Chapelles Bourbon.
